Some stories become too heavy to carry in silence. October was the month I finally opened the pages I had spent years filling and decided to let the light in.
For years, I told myself I wanted to start a blog.
My notebooks were filled with journal entries, late-night thoughts, and reflections on heartbreak, resilience, motherhood, chronic pain, victories, setbacks, and everything in between. Page after page held pieces of my life that I never intended for anyone else to see.
I always had a reason to wait.
Maybe next year.
Maybe when life slows down.
Maybe when I’m finally ready.
Then one day, I decided to stop waiting.
I simply said, “Heck with it,” and began.
What I didn’t expect was how much I would need the process.
This blog became more than a creative project. It became an outlet, a form of healing, and a way to transform years of private thoughts into something meaningful. It gave me the opportunity to stop hiding my experiences between notebook covers and finally give them a voice.
Every post I’ve shared this month has carried a piece of my story.
The realities of motherhood that aren’t always discussed.
The challenges of living with chronic pain and trigeminal neuralgia.
The causes and awareness efforts that hold personal significance.
The moments that have broken me.
The moments that have rebuilt me.
And the everyday struggles so many people carry quietly, often without anyone realizing.
Some posts brought tears as I wrote them. Others forced me to revisit memories I would have rather left untouched. Many reminded me of just how much I’ve endured and, more importantly, how far I’ve come.
Yet with every word came a sense of relief.
For so long, I convinced myself that strength meant pushing through, keeping everything together, and carrying my burdens in silence. This month taught me something different.
Sometimes strength looks like honesty.
Sometimes healing begins the moment you stop pretending you’re okay and allow yourself to speak your truth.
My greatest hope is that someone reads these words and recognizes a piece of themselves in them.
That they realize they are not the only one struggling.
Not the only one hurting.
Not the only one feeling overwhelmed.
Not the only one doing their best while quietly holding everything together.
Because if writing has taught me anything, it’s that every person is carrying a story that others cannot see.
October wasn’t just the month I started a blog.
It was the month I stepped out from behind my journals.
The month I gave myself permission to be vulnerable.
The month I turned years of private reflection into shared experiences.
The month I found the courage to say:
“This is my story.”
And if my story helps even one person feel seen, understood, or a little less alone, then every vulnerable word has been worth it.
Here’s to healing out loud, embracing the messy and imperfect parts of life, and continuing to write the story that is still unfolding. ❤️
October, thank you for reminding me that my voice matters, my experiences matter, and that none of us are ever as alone as we sometimes feel.
As I step into November, I’m ready to keep showing up authentically. I’m ready to continue sharing the stories that have shaped me, the lessons I’m still learning, and the realities that make us all human. I’m ready to write with courage, heal with honesty, and embrace whatever this next chapter holds. Most of all, I’m ready to keep building a space where people feel seen, understood, and reminded that they are never alone. 🖤✨💕
With love,
Corianta ❤️
